Smith Micro Software introduces StuffIt Deluxe 12 for Windows
In October of 2007, MAC launched a software named StuffIt Deluxe 12.0 with compression capabilities for MP3 files and high quality images. This software includes image compression technology which lets images such as TIFFs, Photoshop documents and Bitmaps to be compressed by 70% without distorting the image quality. It also offers improved compression of MS Office documents that includes PowerPoint, PDF documents, and MP3 audio files.
StuffIt 12 supports Microsoft Windows Office plug-ins that let users to access StuffIt directly within MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. It also has the ability to upload newly-created archives to an FTP server, provides plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop and allows users to open or save files from compressed archives.
